Yeah, on the one hand, when the ISS is directly overhead, it's ~400 km up, which is kind of surprisingly close. I think of space as "far away," but the distance is one I could drive in a few hours. On the other hand, if I imagine photographing something man-made from that distance, it is kind of surprising that the shape would be recognizable.
