I mentioned in an earlier post that I spent Sunday at Etobicoke Creek. It's a couple of kilometres from my house, marking the border between Etobicoke (now part of Toronto) and Mississauga (a huge suburb west of Toronto). You can see remnants of early 20th Century human intrusion (including at least one washed out bridge) but it's pretty much untouched now. And by late summer, quite lush:
