Given that there are several shaft-drive lenses in production, the full-framer will have both focusing systems. However, there are two things to consider. Firstly, all new lenses are coming out with in-lens motors. Secondly, there is a report (from asahiman, IIRC) that all old lenses will be redesigned with new coatings, water resistance, and in-lens motors. When this process is complete, the days of the shaft drive will be numbered. No doubt Pentax already has this in their plans.
