I was partly responsible for a meet and greet that happened last week
at the friendly nearby studio that I rent now and then for projects.
One of the busiest glamour and fashion photographers in the area had
expressed an interest in seeing my 645Z and we'd talked about meeting
up at the studio one day. So by the time it happened, it had became a
party event complete with a couple dozen photographers, models, hair
and makeup artists and stylists. There was beer, pizza, middle eastern
snacks, and cake.
And of course, when you have photographers and models, what else? You shoot.

It's a very particular style I happen to like. Gritty and unashamedly
bare. Brazen. Colour and in your face. Good job mate.
Have you ever heard of John Thornton? I think you'd like his work

I had not, but I have now and I really love his work. Thanks, Cotty!
As a thank-you, here's another shot from the mini-shoot: :)

BTW, this model, Kristina, is not my usual "type". She generally
shoots what I sniffingly refer to as "bikini babes" and glamour. But
she is in fact a witty, intelligent, and quite flexible model who I
took to right away and am definitely going to work with in future.
But she does do the unabashed thing very well. Super comfortable in
her own skin, she changed outfits right out on the studio floor,
surrounded by the crowd, oftentimes stripping right down to completely
naked. I think she inspired me to shoot this gritty style you see
here.
How did you discover she was flexible? Did you bend her in strange ways?
(Ducking and running for cover now...)
