Not answering your question but a quick observation: 

Interesting post from DPReview. The last decent printed manual that came
with a camera I bought was the K7. I think the later printed manuals are
very poor. I would sooner pay a little more and get a decent printed manual
that I can sit down and read, than download it and sit in front of a
computer. I've had the pleasure of trying out other manufacturers cameras in
recent months and all the high end cameras are (I think) sensibly laid out.
The feedback I've had from friends using the K3 is that it is 'OK' for
getting to get to know the way around it. I've found every Pentax very
straightforward to use; even going from an LX to an *ist D.
