You probably meant to say the unladen one isn't much faster than the laden one. I'd definitely bet on the unladen slug.

i haven't looked into it, but if any of them are 802.11ac, and well
implemented, they should be able to achieve practical speeds exceeding USB2
and exceeded all but the fastest SD cards
They are badly implemented and they only manage to reach the speed of
a fully laden banana slug. I have two now: the EyeFi and the FLU card.
Neither one is even worth me finishing this sen
