About all I recall at this point is the

One of my fondest memories, involved a drive up that road. I was going to a weekend campout event at Grant Ranch Park about halfway up that road. Thursday afternoon, the welds holding the muffler onto the tailpipe of my Sprite broke. I didn't have time to get them repaired, so Friday afternoon I drove my sprite up Mount Hamilton road, with the top down and running straight pipes.

Not something I would want to make a habit of, and since I often hear large groups of motorcycles with loud pipes drive past my house on hwy 9, I understand how annoying it is. But, damn, that drive was one of those magical moments that I'll always remember and treasure.
