I still have a Leica film SLR the R6. I then parallely owned a Nikon (+ Russian Kiev 19 that used the Nikon mount), Pentax and Pentacon SLRs. Honestly found the Leica system was just as good as the Nikon or Pentax systems - except for a reduction of funds in my bank account, as LBA made me buy Leica R Lenses. Regards.
