all the DA lenses have the lens ID chip to identify themselves to the camera.
So what will happen when you mount a DA lens? will there be some way for the
viewfinder to show a magnified view of just the central portion of the field?
I think Nikon puts a boundary line around the cropped image, (using an
LCD panel, I assume). There's no reason Ricoh wouldn't do something
similar. Canon of course takes a different tack.
