> Takumar 35mm 1:4 (pre-set) on a LX... (with a Miranda 46mm diam > WA hood). This lens has been produced in '58 and '59. Well, my entry is not an extreme difference in age (but I could put the lens on my wife's ZX-5n, which is a lot newer than any of my LX's), but here's an Asahi-Kogaku Takumar 58/2.4 (from an Asahiflex IIA) (which could be from as early as 1954) mounted on an LX - http://www.cetussoft.com/pentax/5824ltd2.jpg Now, if I did put this lens on the ZX-5n (a Christmas present from a few months ago), that would be as much as a 47-year difference - <g>. (With the LX in the photo, the difference is probably only about 30 years, since it's an older LX.) By the way, it took two adapters to do this. First, I used an Asahi 37mm-to-42mm "Adapter C", and then I used a Pentax 42mm-to-K-mount "Mount Adapter K". Fred - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
