I'd be interested to hear what you think of the presentation if
you don't
mind:

Once I got into it (Noscript is pretty effective) I was somewhat
bamboozled.
It seems to be a grotty way to display pictures - difficult to
create a
coherent
series of images when the viewer can click on anything they fancy
from the thumbnails.

Isn't that true of all galleries? I mean, if you put up a gallery page
the viewer can click on any of the thumbnails - that's the point.

Yes but I read your request as calling it a presentation. Blame MS again
but a
presentation, to me, is quite a bit more than a gallery. My misconception
was compounded by some of the pictures having text on them, leading me
to expect something more than picture display. I have my reservations
about thumbnail galleries, too. Some pictures seem to work much better
than others as thumbnails.

Ah, I see. No, I meant 'the way they're presented'. I think they are
pitching it as a better Powerpoint though in some ways. You can include all
sorts of media and also use it a bit like a blog. I thought it might be
worth looking into as a way of showing pictures and text together rather
like an old-fashioned magazine layout, with the possibility of using it like
something between a blog and an online travel journal. I've just mucked
around with it a bit to demonstrate that - buy my god it's painful on the
laptop - much easier on the ipad.

Anyway, the conclusion seems to be that it's a load of crap, and I'm not
about to argue with that.

Ta,
B

I had forgotten just how much I despise Powerpoint; the triumph of
process over content.
