Yes, my camera was on a tripod all day. I should have switched to
monopod when out walking. I hadn't really looked closely at the EXIF,
but  it would be instructive to do. With twitchy little birds I really
need to crank that shutter speed/ISO up higher - then I could be sure
of what was out of focus vs what was motion blur. 1/250 is about as
low as I'd want to go and expect to get anything at all.
