The remarkable thing about RSA when I was there, in 1998 I think, was how cheap 
it was compared to the UK. We lived like royalty.

Ostrich is easily obtainable over here too - there are a few ostrich farms 
scattered about the place.

I don't eat meat any more. But you're right about the steak. We had a braai one 
evening in the camp where we stayed in Kruger NP and the steaks were colossal 
and extremely tasty, among the best I ever had.

You live in a really wonderful country.
