And since you can get snipes for free, well it doesn't cost me anything (since you get free ones when someone signs up to get their free ones!). I've found that even when I only snipe on things, you can pretty much count on snipe bids at the end for anything really good. And I also learned early on that bidding on something attracts attention to it. So yes, I'd rather wait until the end and snipe...even if there are no bids on it.
