Of course I knew it was rhetorical. :-) I was just gushing to the list in general, out of frustration and a need to vent.
It feels that this sort of thing has been going on for my whole life - almost 6 decades now. One wonders if it's ever going to stop. And one tries to cope with the realization that it may not.
