Six weeks have passed since my hip replacement surgery. Today for the first time since, I was able to do my entire Saturday morning walk without the need to use a cane. My leg is still a bit weak, but I'm steady on my feet and can go up and down stairs with no issues.
Of course, I carried my camera: https://flic.kr/p/AJr1Zt I see this woman and two of her friends, and the litter of happy dogs they walk, almost every Saturday. After I made the photo, she stopped to ask if it had come out. I showed it to her on the back of the camera; she immediately pulled out a piece of paper, saying "Please send me a copy! That's so nice!"
