Jack, This photo was made with Leica SL using the Summilux-R 50mm f/1.4 lens. The lens was stopped down one stop, the camera reports it as f/1.7, but it's estimating. The image is full-frame with neither cropping nor rotation, and the leaves are about 2 to 5 inches in length, so I was tucked-in fairly close to make the exposure, probably a 2-3 feet focus setting. You can see that the focus plane is pretty thin.
G BTW: I usually put a "tech info:" block in the image description on the flickr.com page when I post for the various camera lists and forums. > On Nov 23, 2015, at 6:43 AM, Jack Davis <[email protected]> wrote: > > Godfrey, > May I ask what lens and how far would you estimate you were from the leaves? > Metadata? > > Thanks! > > J > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Godfrey DiGiorgi" <[email protected]> > Subject: PESO 2015 - 173 - GDG > > Another from my Saturday morning walk in the park. > > https://flic.kr/p/AQ5kwr -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
