Some 15 years must have passed since I had last had a hard contact lens fall off my eye. But it's happened twice now in two months. How?
The first time, I was using a Super Program when I brushed the teardrop-shaped rubber eyecup against my eye. The second time, I was using a KX when I brushed an eyepiece magnifier against my eye. I never found the first dropped lens. I've decided to stop using an eyepiece magnifier except when I explicitly need to mount one. As for the rubber eyecup, well, it's so darn useful I may take my chances....
