All my mail programs (with one exception for the work e-mail), -
are set to sent messages in plain text.
(And for cell phone, I highly recommend Aquamail for Android for that and
many other reasons.)
And I checked that the messages that went out but didn't go through were
in plain text.
I suspect something in that message has triggered a spam filter (Wikipedia
link?)...
