At one point we talked about boats and he mentioned a friend sailing in Austral-Asian waters, to which I assured him that there be pirates there be and his friend must have thought of security. A day later he left me a voicemail saying that he had spoken to his friend regarding pirates, and that not only did his friend know most of the local pirates (and indeed shared cocktails on deck with them) but for those he didn't, there was a 50 caliber machine gun in the sail locker.
