Hello Folks, I was pleasantly surprised at this Canadian Whiskey - see link.

In San Mateo, we live across Walgreen's on El Camino Real, and was surprised to find this Canadian Whiskey on sale for $ 13 for a 1.75 liter bottle. It was $ 3 more on sale at the nearby Safeway Super Market. I walked back home and checked on it online. The reviews were very very good. So I went back and bought a bottle. How right the online review. I found it smoother and mellower than Johnny Walker Black Label and at less than half the price. I take good whiskies especially single malt without soda. I rang up my son in Toronto, asking him if I should bring a bottle, as it was not sold at the LCBO Store in Canada. Note: The Canadian Govt. has a monopoly on liquor sales, and you cannot buy alcohol anywhere else. He declined as he did not trust cheap whiskey. Any way, he was a beer and wine lover. Give it a try folks - I am certain you will like this hidden gem. Regards.
