After a couple of weeks of being so busy at work that I took zero photographs, I decided to give myself an assignment this weekend in hopes of stirring the creative juices. I swore to take 48 photographs in 48 hours using only normal lenses. So I slapped a 50 on the ZX-5n and one on the K1000 the Seagull and the Olympus with their fixed lens are permanently normal. Well I completed my assignment and I discovered something, I really like my ZX-5n. I often joke it's the ugly step-child of my bag but by golly it's a great little camera and with the battery grip attached it balances well with M series lenses. If only it were made of metal, so now after vowing I would never buy another 35mm SLR I'm thinking that one more wouldn't hurt. I might just have to squeeze the money out for an MZ-S after all.
Evan P.S. I also had a great time reminding myself how versatile a 50 can be. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions. Don't forget to visit the Pentax Users' Gallery at http://pug.komkon.org .
