Well, Dan, believe it or not, I agree with pretty much everything you just said! :-)
It's been some time since the term "climate change" replaced "global warming". I don't know if the world is, on average, warmer or not, but what's irrefutable is: "The Arctic region is warmer than it used to be and it continues to get warmer. Over the past 30 years, it has warmed more than any other region on earth." https://nsidc.org/cryosphere/arctic-meteorology/climate_change.html Human activity seems to be a contributor to at least some of that change.
