The other thing I read is he's using a digital 4x5 camera and the files
are like 20Gb each; each image is built up from a thousand or more photo
captures.
He has in his mind a grid laid out for his final image before he climbs
up to his vantage point and takes the individual exposures based on his
idea of what should be in that part of the grid.
Who makes a DIGITAL 4x5? How many megapixels is it?
When will Pentax be coming out with their Digital 4x5 camera?

Well thanks for clearing that up, John. I suppose, in Serengeti scene,
he could have used bits from any animal photos. It reminds me of that
painting "The Meeting" which was made into a very popular Jigsaw puzzle.

I've read several other articles about him. He's been pretty much
everywhere in the news for the last week or so. The images are
absolutely Photoshopped - meticulously. He spends hours layering the
images in post-processing; far longer than the time he spends capturing
them.

I already saw the Serengeti one. I still can't figure out how he does
it. How come are there no ghosts or overlapping animals? At first I
though it had been Photoshopped but apparently not. I will give it a go
when I eventually get to the bottom of it. Thanks, Dan.
