Far from it! But now instead of doing a hatchet job myself, I am subcontracting. I have a Nikkor 17-35/2.8 that a Very Nice Man is going to rip apart, and not only remove the clicks in the aperture ring, but install a fluid damping system on it, and then install a Canon EF mount onto it.
