Don't quite understand the economics of "maybe afford a used K-5" or
"spend a bit more and upgrade to X100S", but it's your call. Seems to
me if you can "spend a bit more to upgrade to the X100S" you could
also "spend a bit more" and upgrade to a K-5 II/K-5 IIs (as an
example). I didn't keep my K-5 or K-5 II that long but I thought they
were BOTH terrific cameras. The K-5 II could autofocus in the dark. I
can't help but feel that the IQ of them was better than the K-3/K-3
II, particularly at higher ISOs, even if others contradict me.
