I am sure it will it will not "outprice" it, but quite the opposite, it
will be more expensive.

My comments:
I have to say that I am blown away at a zoom outperforming the DA*
prime. The new coating sounds great. I'm assuming the improvement in
the coating can be seen by comparing the Pentax version with the
Tamron version.
