exactly my feeling about them... St. Brigidshot works as stock - but
I'm basically disappointed in it
and I like my lucky find second.
You have seen the church before, I'm sure , if nowhere else then
in this better photo of mine from the my 2015 calendar

This is the wiki on her - I can't remember for sure, but can't imagine
it wasnt in Goddard's 'Alphabet City" for one

I've got better shots as well, although this one shows her after the
building was rescued from demolition..
I have a couple more chances to get decent shots of the park in the
snow coming soon - if I'm up to the effort...

Both very nice and a good example of the range of your photography.
Have I seen that church scene in several more vies? It feels familiar.
The second shot is by far the better of the two, and has more depth,
the first being pretty, but essentially one-dimensional.

There was some pretty snow in Tompkins square park -- for a brief
while - but I didn't take enough time with it..
Here are two very different subjects .
Snowy day in TOmpkin's Square Park - wht St Brigid's church (very
old church that the neghborhood fought to keep)
https://annsan.smugmug.com/On-the-Road-or-On-Foot/2016-and-all-that/i-TPv8Xjb/A
and this observation on 2nd street

It was good to get the walk in the park, if I hadn't started to get
very cold I would have stayed longer
