Yesterday was the second biggest day of the year here on Maui. (The first is Chinese New Year.)
Yesterday was Whale Day! There are many observances, highlighted by a parade up South Kihei Road, the main drag hereabouts, and an all day festival of music, food, art, crafts and educational exhibits in the largest county park.
