When our boys were young I suggested to them that they watch the side of the road (we drive cross-country annually) for car parts and see how long it would take to build one. They balked. Understandably. But every once in a while they remember this when they look and see an engine, a transmission, a gas tank, interior section, or other piece that clearly has no place along a highway. I thought it would be more interesting that the old color game. But, alas, this one has taken years to complete.
