Bulent,

You're very kind.

And there is need to feel envy, really. I mean - it is just a few seconds away - dismount whatever lens is mounted on your Ricoh GXR-M right now and mount the Biogon. Without hood (but with filter to mask that silver ring to which hood attaches) and with the EVF this becomes neat little combo - nifty fifty in a way.

Although I am buying Olympus EM-1 and 12-40/2.8 for my ordinary shooting, Ricoh and these Zeiss lenses remains the gear that gives me the best result both as far as the process/fun is concerned and in terms of final image as well. I cannot possibly recommend this enough :-).

Boris,

I liked them all.
And, felt some envy, too!
This is because I have yet to put my Biogon 35mm on my Ricoh GXR.
As you show repetedly, they seem to work together beautifully.

All three scenes might have looked ordinary to the passers by
while you have succeeded in getting beautiful images.
The background blur in "Reading", the rays of the hidden sun in "Light"
and the lovely mix of colors in the 'eyeglasses' in the final one
did get my attention.

Re-sending...

Hi!

The change from rainy and cold winter to sunny and dry spring was
extremely abrupt this year... Next week we'll be having already the
second hamsin (temperatures significantly higher than season average)
- more than +30C...

Few photos for you to look at:

On a gear front, I've placed an order for Olympus MD EM-1 with
12-40/2.8 zoom lens. ETA is 2 weeks and I will be posting more when/if
it arrives.

Meanwhile - any comments, especially brutal and honest, on my photos
will be greatly appreciated.
