Greetings - Three months ago, I made a very general inquiry regarding a beginner's darkroom. Shel was kind enough to offer good feedback, causing me to ask many questions of my purpose/needs/budget, as well as providing a great article on enlarging lens. Thanks again, Shel.
I put the project on hold, as my wife and I started talking about moving, and I didn't want to get too far in case the future site had a more permanent spot for the darkroom. Well, we've bought property on a pristine, forested river here in Oregon, and we're going to build. Needless to say, I'm thrilled at the opportunity to build a darkroom in the basement however I want it to be. Who cares about the rest of the house! So - I need advice. Books, articles, web sites besides Andy Hughes' darkroom source, etc. I will be doing B&W only, both 35mm and medium format (plus I want the flexibility in case I move up to large format). I just need to tell the contractor what I want, and he'll make it happen (pinch me, Martha...must be a dream). And, when we're all done, this is going to be a great spot for taking pictures. If you happen to make it out to this neck of the woods, drop on by. Thanks in advance - Marc WVI WEBMAIL - http://www.wvi.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
