I'm not sure that the link will work, but as an interesting equipment
comparison, Laurie was photographing with Nikon, at least one of her
cameras was a D3. I think the Pentax gear did a good job of holding its
own, especially considering the price differential between a used K-3 or
a very tired K-5ii and a D3.

Granted, some of that may come from workflow. With careful
postprocessing, and on a large print, the differences in performance
might be a bit more noticeable than on facebook. Even so, it's an
exciting time photographically because even though the "hit rate" would
be lower you could be getting image quality on this level, in this sort
of lighting with a $300 used K-5 and a $30 50/1.4 super-tak from the
flea market.
