I set my tripod up on the deck yesterday to get some bird pics. While waiting for action, I heard the kids playing next door, about 250 feet away. Good opportunity for a candid pic, so I swung the camera to my left and captured these little guys. Of course they never saw me from that far away. It’s the D FA 150-450 with the 1.4 X converter — 630mm. ISO 1250, f8 at 1/1600th, Plus 1.3 stops exposure comp to manage the snow. The focus was on the head of th guy to right of frame. I like the colors, and my printer needed exercise, so I cranked out a 12 x 18. Looks good.
