Serves me right for not sending my lens hood along with the lens I guess.
Had the same problem when my 24-70 f/2.8 came back from Sigma.
Fortunately, I purchased it locally. The store handled sending it to
Sigma for the warranty repair, so when I noticed it, I took it back to
the store & their in house repair guy was able fix it.
