Hi, I have a question for the list on the behaviour of X-sync and live view.
I'm using x-sync and manual flash through live view and a HDMI monitor for macro photos. The issue I have is that the live view behaves like manual, displaying a dim image rather than an automatically adjusted bright image that you get with the auto settings. X-sync is a manual setting, I agree, but it's not one that makes any sense to not show the best image through live view. Does anyone know of a setting that would improve the image I get on live view with this setup? All ideas appreciated.
