I figured it was worth the $$, so I sniped it. I don't pay too much attention to "market value", as I'm more concerned with how much money I have to spend, how often I'll use the equipment, and how much I'm being influenced by the allure of additional Pentax gear (the third factor is always present!) After buying a PZ-1p and several AF lenses, I've found myself missing my old Spotmatic and screw mount lenses. If I don't get a shot because I'm in the process of changing gear, then it wasn't meant to be. Can't beat the feeling of a solid mechanical camera. I also bought an MX the other day, but it's just too small to feel good in my hands. I find myself traveling these sporadic small circles back to the Spotmatic. I sort of feel like I'm sleeping with a hotel pillow when I use any other camera. So, I'll feed the addiction with more M42 gear (a JCO wanna-be, I guess ;^))
