Interesting - doesn't "feel" like a night shot since the exposure is up
to normal but then the stars are in the sky... Most striking to me is
how the lens distortion makes it look like the road is curved up like
its cradling the car. Cool shot.
Thanks. The moonlight photography is interesting because it is hard to
visualize the result. The photos that I tried to get didn't work, but
these were some pleasant surprises as I experimented and played around.
I'm definitely going to want to find a good full frame 16mm or wider
lens. The 8mm samyang has proven to be surprisingly useful, but it has
some major limitations in image quality.

I played with my camera on the way home from the dojo a few nights
ago. I mostly determined that I need to find some sharp, fast, wide
glass, preferably one that I can afford. The 31 was neither fast, nor
wide, enough for the shot that I wanted to get of trees sticking up
through the fog.
This shot with the 8mm Samyang has been getting some attention on
flickr, and it does lend to some interesting geometry.
