I shoot so little in the studio these days that the battery grip will,
for me, almost certainly be one of those things that gathers dust on the
shelf. My BG-5 has enough dust on it that I had to wipe it to read the
lettering on it just now.
However, I am hoping to have a semblance of a studio in the basement
again soon, so if I can attract a few models in, I might have a need for
a battery grip again.
My major beef is that the K1 is big enough, with the grip it will
actually be bigger than a 6x7.
