Crooks' Corner is at the extreme NE of SA at the confluence of the Levuhu (middle left) & Limpopo Rivers. This point forms the boundary between South Africa, Zimbabwe & Mozambique. In the old days, criminals involved in ivory & gold smuggling & gun running could easily avoid arrest by paddling across the river into a different country.
