I often browse through a travel/vacation message board forum; one of the many sub-forums within the site is centered on travel photography, and one of the continuing threads there is “List Your Cameras.” As I understand it, this is a holdover from early days and was intended to facilitate finding someone else with the same camera gear if/when you needed someone knowledgeable to give you some help with a camera question.
Anyway, I was struck by this person’s collection (including the Pentax gear which makes this a bit less OT…) There have been comments here on PDML recently about buying/selling gear vs. holding onto the old, and I thought this example might nicely illustrate one person’s struggle with this issue.
