Tim Horton's is now owned by Burger King. I suspect the one in New
Jersey is not quite the same thing as they are in Canada. It should do fine.
Krispy Kreme is going strong, and they still make their donuts on site.
Most places you can stand at the window and WATCH the donuts as they
move through the fryer. You just have to keep an eye open for when the
"Hot Doughnuts Now" sign is lit up.
Dunkin Donuts doesn't make their donuts on site any more. They're made
in some factory up there in yankeeland and frozen before being shipped
to the local franchises. All the Dunkin Donuts franchises around here
have had to merge with Baskin Robbins. The ones that just sold Dunkin
Donuts folded & went out of business.

Tim Horton's was sent packing like the British at New Orleans, so they
probably probably won't last in NJ either. DD once again reigns supreme,
(heck even Krispy Kreme succumbed to DD, the South didn't rise any
anymore than those pure sugar bombs they tried to pass off as donuts).
In fact it's possible to find real deep fried donuts if you look for them.
