Great job! and excellent use of background.

It might also work well as a square crop with about as much space to the left of the in focus flower as there is above it.

As amazingly well as the colors complement each other, it might also work well in black and white, I think that the tones would also complement each other well. Note, that is in addition, not instead, it would be two very different photos.
