You may have heard of the ginormous sunspot now taking center stage on
our local star. I had to attempt it, so snagged this photo of
ginormous Sunspot AR2529 during my afternoon work break. The inset is
at 100% and appears to be a "heart" at it's core. Taken with a Pentax
K-3 II at 1600 ISO with home made AstroSolar filter. Sigma EX 50-500mm
f4-6.3 DG with a Pentax-F 1.7x teleconverter.

I believe the Sigma was at 500mm plus the 1.7x. This is a single image
(taken from the JPEG) with no stacking or sharpening - only color
correction. (My filter makes everything look violet).
