Also if it makes you feel any better I was stupid enough to push the
quick release button on a tripod which caused my K-5 and 12-24 to both
crash into the asphalt 5 feet below. Neither fared very well. I also
was stupid enough to leave that same camera somewhere I thought was
secure with my belongings only to return to find that it disappeared.
Luckily only a $50 50-200 was attached. It magically returned to me 2
months later in even worse shape. That camera was pretty cursed I tell
you. Thankfully I replaced it with a K-5 IIs which focuses 100x better
and just never looked back.
