Thanks, Ann! That third one is odd. The man was standing inside this storefront business just looking around the room. Difficult to tell just exactly what the business is though. The business was closed, and he just stood their staring. He never knew he was being photographed as well. He was definitely wrapped up in his thoughts.
No statement trying to be made about the bank shot—just all coincidental. Had a giggle over the 1st one: you don’t see beauty parlors like that one much these days. Clearly, one wouldn't use the word salon to describe it! :-). I hope to get back into the groove—and soon. Lately, I’ve been very self-conscious about shooting people/street photography—I’m in some kind insecure/self-conscious place, which I don’t quite understand, especially, when I think about all the stuff I’ve shot up until this past year or so. Sometimes I think it’s clearly me just feeling insecure. Other times I think it’s some negative-people-vibe I “think" I’m sensing when I’m out in public. Maybe it’s both. Maybe it’s neither, and I’ve just been in a creative funk. The end of the semester is soon approaching, and I truly plan to spend the summer on some creative projects. I am feeling better. It’s been a tough time. Dad died. Mom is now in a nursing home. Still stunned my best friend died last year. But I do think I’m definitely starting to feel my old self again—so no need to worry—I’m cheerfully moving forward. I’ll definitely be more engaged with PDML—and it feels good! Have missed you guys tons!
