I used to post a pic exactly like this one every spring. (There’s really only one good angle here.) But two horrific winters nearly killed this tree, so I didn’t shoot it the last couple of years. It still isn’t quite back to what it one was, but it’s feeling much better, thank you. Planted it 22 years ago on a rainy April day as a tribute to a friend who had moved away. Good to have it back. (The friend returns from time to time as well. All is good.)
