Shot some pics at the Stage Nature Center in Troy, Mich. this morning. I would 
guess this woodland is several hundred acres, so it provides something close to 
natural habitat for the critters. It’s not completely fenced, so the population 
moves in and out a bit. The deer are definitely less shy than those in the 
wild, which is a good thing for a photographer.

BTW, the last time I ventured this far into the nature center was a month of so 
before my knee operation. I couldn’t walk more than a few hundred yards before 
the pain became unbearable. That convinced me to go for the operation. Today 
was pain free, although i was very cautious, given all the tree roots on the 
trails.  Don’t want to fall on the new knee yet, since the bone is still 
bonding.
