Rick, the unsharp part of the flower is due, in part, to lack of a tripod. Even then, it may not be tack sharp as I was not aiming at a faithful, botanical record. Ann, I guess my intention to play with the "spiky vs soft & pliable" character did not work as I hoped for. It is not as strong as I wanted : Part of me wants to caress it while another part wants to keep clear. The image was intended for a tactile experience. (I hope it does not look a bit pretentious when written!)
