It's always hard to let go and to make choices... No need to prune for
keeping images, just whittling them down for showing others in a forum..
My galleries on smugmug are large- but I seldom as you know show more
than 3 or 4 photos at once... important to keep more than you
think you should as later you may have change of heart as to which you
like best...
Pigeon is a fine example of taking a mundane and over photo'ed subject
and raising it to a higher level... ok now I've sufficiently increased your
hat size... :-)

Yes, pruning my photos is sometimes a challenge for me. I find it helps if I
get someone (Larry) to do a quick rating of which photos they like/don't like
on albums before I post, but life has been so busy lately I didn't get around
to it.
The pigeon worked out even better than I expected -- glad I noticed him there
under the pier!

Good point , Stringer
You have to be careful saying "mark" in the body of a post here:-
)although your comment is MARK worthy :-)
and then I bet you could get confused with Cassino too.. ( puns always
intended)
Nicole, the pigeon shot is super, and the surfboard without rider gave
me a chuckle.. I wish it were a bit darker overall. I think you could
prune this group of 20 a bit for more impact - but that's coming from
someone who things if you've seen one surfing photo you've seen them
all so perhaps unfair.
The stump that others have mentioned is interesting, but the birdie is
the winner for me. It's a money shot for a poster

I'm "looking at you" makes me think of "judgement day". On judgment day the
sinner is to stand before God and be judged. My interpretation of judgement day, with some levity

neglect, abuse and mistreatment of animals.

These pictures were from a stop in a little coastal town named Cayucos along
Hwy 1.
This guy was staring at me from the rafters under the pier:
